Eric Douglas is the founder and president of Leading Resources Inc. (“LRI”), a consulting firm that serves a wide array of public agencies, non-profits, and corporations in California, the U.S. and abroad. The
firm’s mission is to develop leaders and leading organizations. What distinguishes LRI is it does not simply assess and recommend. LRI guides clients through processes that result in real, meaningful change using a combination of skillful facilitation and expertise in improving leadership, strategy, governance, performance, and process.

His first book (published in 1998) was Straight Talk: Turning Communication Upside Down for Strategic Results. Prior to becoming a consultant, Eric was an executive in the newspaper and magazine industry. He is an honors graduate of Harvard University. He has been honored by the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) for his work. He has served on numerous boards of directors and devotes considerable time to charitable and community projects.
Eric is married and has four children. He and his wife, Susanna, live in Northern California.
